Environmental Benefits:

Sale of this material will eliminate the disposal of these streams at Hoechst Celanese and take the place of other previoulsy purchased raw materials at the customer's site. The total waste reduction volume is 16,000 tons per year. SARA waste reduction is negligible. Waste reduction will also take place at the site of the customer since the production volume requirements for the previous raw material will be decreased as a result of the consumption of Sulform. The sale of a similar co-product material that is currently stored in surface impoundments will hasten the emptying and closure of these impoundments at the Bishop facility.
