Description:

Reconfiguration of plumbing apparatus aims to make reduction in water us by employees in bathrooms at facility.

P2 Application:

One pedal operated five spray nozzles at the sinks in both bathrooms at the Dresser facility. With 150 employees washing their hands three to four times a day the amount of water wasted really added up. Usually no more than one or two people used the sink at the same time. The plumbing was reconfigured so that each spray nozzle now has its own pedal to operate it. This simple fix saves over 160,000 gallons of water each year.

  • Total Cost Savings: $490.00
